Part III: The Inner Path of the Yoga Sutra

$49.00

This telecourse ran Wednesdays, January 13 to February 10, 2021.

Continuing the study of the Yoga Sutra, this telecourse explores the three inner practices of the Eight Limbs of Yoga: concentration, meditation, and samadhi, then goes beyond them to look into the extraordinary powers that the mind acquires through the practice of samyama. Samyama brings together concentration, meditation, and samadhi to expand our ability to know anything that needs to be known, tap into intuition, and even acquire supernormal powers.

In this telecourse, we’ll discuss deeply the nuances of meditation and offer practices for tapping into our innate ability to access wisdom. We’ll also work with the most exalted part of the Yoga Sutra: the state of enlightenment, in which consciousness learns to separate itself from identification with the body, and is then potentially able to realize that our consciousness can contain the whole universe.

This is profoundly illuminating and transformative material, full of practical insight and practice. But to really understand and apply it, it’s very important to work with a teacher. You’ll be led through processes that can deeply impact your own practice, and radically expand your mind and heart.

The course includes five 2-hour lectures in mp3 format, two Q&A sessions in mp3 format, guided meditation, and weekly guidance for personal practice.
